Stick and Knife (book)

Excellent book from my friend and colleague Dimitris Tsigakos. The guy has a martial arts school and trust me he knows a lot about self-defence.

I read several chapters of the book and it is very well-written. I liked very much that Dimitris uses a more personal style (and personal experiences too), when he discusses about various techniques. The book is available in Kindle format and sold by amazon.com.

Effective Java

Recently i bought the second edition of Effective Java by Joshua Bloch.

I read the first edition mostly at the lab, and i never thought that this second version would have such major upgrade in content.

If you want to learn some new tricks, and gain some insights in the “new” Java features, buy this book.
